Title
Proxy server full name.
Host & Port
The host and port of a proxy server. Normally port is decided by its server type, 3128, 8080 are used by HTTP, 1080 is used by SOCKS4&5.
Type
Both HTTP<CONNECT> and SOCKS4&5 support resume very well. HTTP<GET> type proxy is not good at FTP transfer, however it is able to load MMS and RTSP streaming payloads.
Authentication
Fill login information if server requires you to be identified.
NTLM
Use NTLM authentication instead of BASIC. This needs server support, Microsoft ISA 2000 is known to support this type of authentication. In the case that a domain name is necessary, the format of textbox "Username" is "username/domain", for instance, "Kevin/WORKGROUP", "Kevin" is username, "WORKGROUP" is domain.
No Cache
Some proxy servers store browsed data into its cache. When someone's requests access to that data later, the proxy server will retrieve the data straight from the quicker cache instead of getting it from its original location. Check this option to tell NetTransport to use cache or not.
Passive
Only SOCKS type proxy can support both PASSIVE and PORT mode for FTP transfer.
Validate
Check whether validating proxy is available or not to add or remove. Note, the test result will not be shown in proxy list. |
