Registration
Click "Register" on the upper right corner of the main interface to open the registration window or choose the "Register" option in the Help menu, then you just need to input the two needed contents listed below and click "Register" Button to finish registration.
NOTE:
The following situations will cause registration error, please pay more attention to it:
A.Wrong entry. You'd better copy and paste the registration code to avoid a typo. And please don't add any blank before or after the code.
B.Your purchased product and downloaded product are not the same, maybe you mix up the two products with similar names.
C.You mix up the Windows and Mac version of a software product. Please note that they are two completely different products and be sure to know the correct version that is fit for your computer.
Email Address: The email address that you fill in the order form.
Registration Code: A string of characters marked as Activation key, license code or KEYCODE(S) in the order confirmation letter you received after the successful purchase.
Set Preference
General
Click "Tools" on the main interface, and choose "Preferences" command after context menu popped up to open the Preferences window, which allows you to freely set the following preferences for better user experience:
Output Folder: Choose definite storing addresses for Output Folder and Snapshot Folder, and set Snapshot image format (JPEG, PNG and BMP).
Update Settings: Here you can let this app automatically check for program updates or not.
Convert:
Conversion Done:
Choose "Shut Down" or "No Action" for your computer before converting. Then, when conversion is done, your computer will automatically shut down or do nothing.
CPU:
Choose designated CPU or CPUs to be operated when converting.
GPU:
If your PC graphic card model is compatible with NVIDIA® CUDA™ Technology or AMD GPU Acceleration, you can freely choose to activate the converting acceleration by checking the corresponding option.
For NVIDIA® CUDA™ Graphic card users, you can check "Enable NVIDIA GPU Acceleration" Option;
For AMD Graphic card users, you can check "Enable AMD APP Acceleration" Option.
Process:
You can set Maximum simultaneous running processes running from 1 to 8.
DVD:
DVD Loading Mode:
There are DVD Navigator Mode (Recommended) and DVD Parser Mode two DVD loading modes for you to choose. You can also decide whether to show mode selection when loading DVD or not.
Conversion Settings:
You can let the program only convert Title(s) or only convert chapters when all the chapters under Title(s) are checked. You can also decide whether to show conversion settings selection before conversion or not.
Download:
Task Number:
You can set max task number from 1 to 10.
Location
Click "Browse" and set the save folder for the downloaded videos.
Tutorial
Finish the following four steps to convert DVD/local video file or downloaded video file:
Step 1: Load Source File or Download Online Video
Load Source File: you are allowed to load DVD and video file.
Load DVD
There are two ways to load DVD Disc, DVD folder or DVD IFO files:
Method One:Click "Load DVD" Drop-down List on the main interface, and select any of the three options displayed below:
Option 1: "Load DVD Disc" (Click this option to check the DVD disc name to load the whole DVD);
Option 2: "Load DVD Folder" (Click this option to load standard DVD folder file);
Option 3: "Load IFO Files" (Click this option to load single or multiple IFO files).
Method Two:Click "File" menu on the main interface to finish the loading steps above mentioned.
Load Video File
There are three ways to load video, audio file, or folder including video/audio files:
Method One:Click "Add File" Drop-down List on the main interface, and check "Add File(s)" Option to add any video or audio file; or check "Add Folder" Option to add any folder containing many video and audio files, or DVD folder.
Method Two:Click "File" menu on the main interface to finish the loading steps above mentioned.
Method Three:Directly drag any source file to the main interface.
Download Online Video
Play any video on website and copy the URL of the video, then you can click "Download" button to open the Add URL window. The copied video url will be automatically pasted and then click "Analyze". It will analyze more than one video with different encode, resolution, etc. Select the right videos you need to download and click OK to download them.
Tips:
1. There are two display modes for the loaded file list: Report view and List view. You can click the corresponding button on the upper right corner of the main interface to switch view mode.
2. In the loaded file list, you can move up or move down video file by clicking the corresponding arrow right on the list. You can also select any single file to right click on it to pop up a context menu, which allows you to remove, clear all and rename the selected file.
Step 2: Choose Profile
For single file:
Select target output format from the "Profile" Column at the bottom of the main interface, or just choose the option from the Profile drop-down list in line with the source file in the loaded file list.
For multiple files:
1. To output different formats, please choose separate format respectively for each selected source file;.
2. To output same format, please choose target format for a selected source file, then click "Apply to All" Button in line with "Profile" Column to apply current profile to all other source files.
Tips:
1. For profile quick search, please input any keyword relating to the target format into the "Search" textbox at the bottom of the Profile drop-down list.
Step 3: Set Output Destination
Click "Browse" Button in line with "Destination" Column at the bottom of the main interface, and choose the target storing folder for converted titles.
Step 4: Start Converting
Select the title(s) you want to convert in the loaded source file list, and then click "Convert" Button to start converting.
Tips:
1. For acceleration converting, please click the enable CUDA or AMD APP Acceleration button in the main interface or check the corresponding option of GPU in the Preferences setting.
2. In the Conversion window, click "Pause" or "Stop" Button to suspend or stop the conversion progress anytime during conversion.
3. During conversion, check "Shut down computer" or "Open output folder" option to give defined operating command to your computer when the conversion is done.
