Create CSR
- Overview
- This Device creates a CSR (Certificate Signing Request) to be issued by a certificate from a CA (Certificate Authority).
- After the CA issues a certificate, install the certificate in the page "Install Certificate."
- NOTE:
When this Device creates a new certificate the old certificate is deleted. - Install the certificate issued with the latest CSR for this Device.
- Common Name
- Input common name for certificate(Required).
- The length of common name is less than 64 bytes.
- Enter an identifier such as an IP address, host name or domain name to use when accessing to this Device through SSL/TLS communication.
- The host name is displayed by default.
- Organization
- Enter your organization, corporation or company (optional).
- The length of organization is less than 64 bytes.
- Organization Unit
- Enter your department or division (optional).
- The length of organization unit is less than 64 bytes.
- City/Locality
- Enter the city in which your organization is located (optional).
- The length of city/locality is less than 64 bytes.
- State/Province
- Enter the state or province in which your organization is located (optional).
- The length of state/province is less than 64 bytes.
- Country/Region
- Enter the country or region in which your organization is located (optional).
- The country should be an ISO 3166 country code composed of two characters.
- Configure extended partition
- SubjectAltName
- Auto (Register IPv4)
- Register IPv4
- Manual
- You must specify the type and value (e.g. example.com). Other supported types include email, URI, RID, IP, OtherName.
- The length of characters that you can input is up to 256 bytes for UTF8.
- Public Key Algorithm
- Select Public key length.
- It is recommended that you select the default setting because it provides the strongest level of security. The other security settings are only recommended when the device does not support the strongest level of security.
- Digest Algorithm
- Select Digest Algorithm for signature.
- It is recommended that you select the default setting because it provides the strongest level of security. The other security settings are only recommended when the device does not support the strongest level of security.
